As a fellow black sheep and someone who experienced spiritual abuse and wasn’t always welcome in church spaces, Jen set out to create a safe space for all people to come worship, learn, heal and encounter God.
Tribe + Tongue Revival exists for all people, including the ones who never quite felt like they fit the mold. The ones who’ve wrestled with faith, questioned where they belong, been broken or walked into church spaces and felt out of place.
The black sheep.
The outcasts.
The ragamuffins and the rebels.
We believe Jesus loves everyone and paid the price to call you His own and that no one can take that from you. He is FOR you no matter who are. Sinner — Saint. Gay — Straight. Black — White and all things in between.
The Tribe + Tongue Revival is a community of every day people who can drop the mask, be real, worship and share this walk with Christ together. The misfits, musicians, creatives, lovers, fighters, doubters, dreamers, and those brave enough to believe again.
This is not a southern church revival.
Around here, revival could sound like a super natural encounter or act of God or — it could simply be worship music on an old acoustic guitar, paint on your hands, dirt from the garden, honest conversations under string lights, or a song that reminds you you’re still alive.
It’s a place to find healing and rest for your soul. A place to be real and reconnect with God. A place of hope and to revive what’s been lost or broken. A place to light a fire to your faith again.
So whether you’re seeking, searching or just passionately curious… this is a place for you.
